Question 2

Storefront Translation & Admin Language

Accepted Answer

Multi-language Support

| Available on: All Plan (both features)

❓What is Multi-language Support?

Calla now covers language on both sides for your customers, and for you.

Storefront translation (customer-facing): Show up in your store's exact language, no barrier. The date and time picker on your product page, cart, and checkout automatically translates into your store's language - free on every plan.

It works with Shopify's Translate & Adapt app, automatically detecting the customer's locale and adjusting the language accordingly.

Case 1 - Single-language store: If your store's language matches the customer's locale (i.e., you only run one storefront language), auto-translation handles it on its own. No need to install Shopify's Translate & Adapt app.
Case 2 - Multi-language store: If your store has multiple languages set up, you'll need Shopify's Translate & Adapt app. Once it's installed, storefront translation uses it to adjust the calendar and fulfillment picker so they match whichever of your store's languages the customer is browsing in.

Supported storefront languages (15):

English (en) – default
Spanish (es)
French (fr)
German (de)
Portuguese (pt)
Italian (it)
Dutch (nl)
Japanese (ja)
Chinese Simplified (zh)
Chinese Traditional (zh-tw)
Korean (ko)
Arabic (ar)
Vietnamese (vi)
Hindi (hi)
Turkish (tr)

Question 3

Add the date picker to your cart drawer

Accepted Answer

| Available on Pro and Elite plans.

Let customers choose a delivery, local delivery, or pickup date right inside your cart drawer, so every order has a date before they reach checkout.

❓ What is the cart drawer date picker?

A cart drawer (also called a slide-out cart, mini cart, or side cart) opens when a customer adds a product, without leaving the page. The cart drawer date picker puts your fulfillment options in that drawer: Delivery, Local Delivery, and Pickup, with a date and time slot for each. Why it helps:

Customers pick a date at the moment they add to cart, with no extra step.
You can require a date, so no order comes through without one.
Your cart drawer matches your store's look, with custom calendar themes and button colors.

⚙ How to set up the cart drawer date picker

Step 1: Open Cart Drawer settings

In the app, go to Settings. Find Cart Drawer (marked PRO) and click Modify.

Step 2: Choose your Fulfillment Type

Open the Fulfillment Type menu and choose how customers receive their orders: | Fulfillment Type | What customers see in the drawer | | ---- | ---- | | Delivery | The Delivery option with date and time slot | | Pickup | Store location, date, and time slot | | Both | Delivery, Local Delivery, and Pickup together, with switching between them | This setting is also used
