✨ What is Cut-off Time?

Cut-off Time lets you control when customers can place delivery or pickup orders for your Shopify store.

This ensures you only receive orders within operational hours and helps manage fulfillment deadlines.

Where it shows up: Cut-off Time affects all delivery or pickup options set up via CX Elevate Daytime Picker, visible at checkout or during order selection.

✅ Prerequisites

Make sure you’ve installed the CX Elevate Daytime Picker app.
You must be on the Pro Plan to access Cut-off Time settings.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup

Go to CX Elevate Daytime Picker app in your Shopify Admin.
Select Settings > Delivery and Pickup Schedule.
Scroll to the Cut-off Time section.

Configure Same Day Cut-off Time

Options:
- Allow same day all day (default) – Customers can order for same day delivery/pickup any time during business hours.
- Stop accepting same day orders at a specific time – Set a time after which same day delivery/pickup will not be available (e.g., 2:00 PM).
- Do not allow same day delivery or pickup – Customers cannot select same day delivery or pickup.

Configure Next Day Cut-off Time

Options:
- Allow next day all day (default) – Customers can order for next day delivery/pickup at any time.
- Stop accepting next day orders at a specific time – Set a time after which next day delivery/pickup will not be available.
- Do not allow next day delivery or pickup – Customers cannot select next day delivery or pickup.

Select your preferred option for both Same Day and Next Day.
Click Save to apply changes.

💡 All changes are applied instantly to your store’s order flow.

The time which the Cut-off Time uses is your shop's default time. For example, if your time is (GMT-05:00) America/New_York, it will be in (GMT-05:00) America/New_York

Q: I don’t see Cut-off Time in my app settings.

A: This feature is available only on the Pro Plan. Please check your plan or contact support.

Q: Can I set cut-off times for individual products or locations?

A: Currently, cut-off times apply storewide, not to individual products or locations.
